Drunks With Guns LP

Unfortunately I don't actually own a copy and can't find a picture of the cover, so here's the cover of their ST 7". The link is for the LP though.

Clockcleaner - Skinheaded Lady

Put out by Stained Circles for Clockcleaner's Australian tour in 2008. Bside is a cover of Hate City by X, with different lyrics. "Couldn't understand the words so made up some new ones. Deal."

I've been informed that Kurt Vile is playing the saxophone, and I'll assume this is correct unless someone has a more compelling argument for him playing a different instrument.

Hammer - Yellow LP

Hammer are from Japan and play fast hardcore punk. They are good.

Unfortunately, I don't speak or read Japanese, so I have no fucking clue what this record is actually titled, and only one of the tracks is listed on the record in English. Fortunately, it doesn't matter because this record rips regardless of if you have any idea what the vocalist is saying.

Sinks

One of my current favorite Minneapolis bands. Sinks play lo-fi garage punk. They are touring this winter, so check them out if they're in your town and give them your drugs and booze. Tour dates on their myspace.

S/T released on Fashionable Idiots in 2007. Recorded live on 2-track
No Money released on Kenrock in 2008. Recorded live on 4-track

Another one from Andy at Fashionable Idiots. Fresh Meat play noisy, ugly, hardcore punk and hail from Allentown, PA.  Copies are still available through the store on the FI site, so stop being an asshole and go order it.

Out With A Bang - Love My Life

Assholes from Italy playing punk about drugs, sex and booze. Just as out of control live as one would hope/expect.

Love My Life

Knife Fight - Burning Bridges EP

SoCal hardcore. Members from Gordon Solie Motherfuckers, Life's Halt, Carry On, No Reply, amongst a slew of others. Members went on to a large number of bands as well. This EP was put out in 2004.

Billy Bao

I'm not going to bother describing Billy Bao besides noisy, heavy and loud. Dialectics of Shit (released February 08) is probably my favorite of their releases thus far. May 08 (released June 09) is even noisier with a lot less distinguishable guitar parts. And if you're looking for even more, grab the Drunkdriver/Mattin collaboration, List of Profound Insecurities (released August 2009) .

Badmaster still has some copies of Dialectics of Shit and List of Profound Insecurities, so grab them really fucking quick before they're gone. Not sure where you'd be able to find a copy of May 08.

Mattin has downloads of all his released material (including Billy Bao) on his site, some in formats that are higher quality than mp3, if that intrigues you. Otherwise, here are rips of all 3 mentioned releases in mp3 version.

Gudon - Discography

Another one from Japan. Gudon existed from the early/mid 80s until 91. This discography has everything they released excluding demos and the Zanin Seiji flexi 7". Members went on to Bastard, which is a post or two for another day.

NK6

Photobucket

One of my favorites from Japan. NK6 are blisteringly fast, thrashy
punk. They don't need much more of an introduction than that, so
check them out if you aren't already in the know.

Burning Kitchen

Photobucket

This one was borrowed from the fine folks at Fugitive Equilibrium,
and while I'm sure their blog gets more hits in a day than mine will
in its entire existence, i'd still like to try to share this record with a
few more people.

Female fronted Swedish punk. I could (and do) listen to this album
repeatedly. Go to the FE link for more information, to thank them forthis 10" gem, and to find some more good OOP records.

Cherubs

Photobucket

Austin, Texas noise rock. Existed from 1992 to 1994. Heroin Man was released shortly after they broke up in 94 and Short of Popular is a compilation of various singles and tracks not used on their other albums, released in 96.

Mayyors

Mayyors are from Sacramento, California and are heavy and noisy. I can only imagine they're loud as fuck live too. All of their records are sold out.

I can't remember where I got these rips from, so if they're yours, let me know so I can give you credit for them and toss up a link to your blog, since I'm still working on getting copies of them. In the meantime, thanks unknown bloggers!

Loser Life - I Have Ghosts And I Have Ghosts

Photobucket

Pissed off hardcore punk from Bakersfield, California. The band wasn't happy with how this record turned out, but personally it's my favorite of their releases, even if the production values aren't as good as they would've liked.

屍 Shikabane - Why Do You Live?

Photobucket

Another great band from Japan. A bit darker than their earlier releases, with some slower, more melodic parts, but still plenty of fast, tight, thrashy goodness.

Assault - Pain

Probably my favorite release by this Tokyo outfit. Raging, semi metallic crust, i guess you could call it. You can find both of their LPs and the Martyrdom 7" floating around on some other blogs without too much effort, i'm sure.

Brainbombs - Obey

Photobucket

CD release in Sweden in 95, LP released in the US in 97. Loud, noisy, vulgar, lo-fi, monotonous, and great.
